I just wanted to remind all of you to pray for the Ray family, Mike, Linda, Rebekah, and Hannah. You probably remember them from some of our earlier blogs. Here is a short bio from their website http://reachukraine.org/team/rays.asp Mike, Linda, Rebekah and Hannah Ray moved to Ukraine in 1995. The first year (11 months) they lived and Kiev and studied language. In 1996 they moved to the eastern, “Donbass” region, of Ukraine and lived in the city of Donetsk, serving there for a little over 2 years. In late 1998 they moved to begin serving in Dnipropetrovsk, the city in which they still live and serve. They serve as missionaries with the International Board of the SBC. Mike serves as the Team Strategy Leader for East Central Ukraine.
The LORD has used this family so much in our lives. Like so many of our IMB missionaries they are sacrificing not just a summer but a lifetime here. They are responsible for all the ground work for every team that comes here to East Central Ukraine through the S.B.C. as well as many, many Church plants and discipleship training sessions for Ukrainian missionaries and pastors. (I believe over a hundred Church plants) Please, please lift them up in prayer as they serve here. Pray for Rebekah and Hannah as they attend college and work in the states and are separated from their parents. Go to thier website and check out all the opportunities and information about Ukraine.
