Children's Hospital / Orphanage
Please pray for Yaza, she has been at the hospital for two years.
Craft time!!!
At Chutivo - we got rained out so we had to move inside. Thank the LORD for this Church building! It is still under construuction but the Sanctuary is finished so they are able to have meetings here and have Sunday school for kids. We come here every Friday for a day camp. God has blessed this Church so much through many different people, (even many of you though you may not know it - through the IMB offerings) only two years ago they met under a tent in a field near by.
Please pray for Nastia, upper right in the pink shirt. She is our main translator and one of our closest friends. She has been a believer herself for only a few years but is always diligently working for the LORD in her home state (oblast) of Poltava.
Please pray for Andrew (left) and Slavic (right). Two faithful Ukrainain missionaries who love the LORD and touch many lives here in Poltava oblast. Slavic is the pastor of the Chutivo Church and Andrew is the missions director - Church planter for the Poltava Oblast.
Our last Class for the year at one of the Private English schools we help at.(End of the year party) Please pray for our continued relationships with these students and their teachers. All have heard the Gospel and received Russian Bibles and we trust that HIS WORD will not come back void. Please water it with your prayers.
The Quest - The two photos below are of a Quest game that the SMS / English Club had this week. There were five teams with about six people per team. They had Bible clues that led them all around the center of Poltava with different task at each checkpoint. After everyone returned and results were read, Vova shared a message from GOD's WORD. It was a fun time for believers to spend time with non-believers explaining what these verses mean and working together to reach the next task.
These are some students we just began to meet with this week. They go for private tutoring lessons with a young man we have known for six years, Max. He is directly above Felesha and Page in the photo above. We actually met him about six years ago in a class we taught when he was a University student and now we meet with students he teaches. Please pray for our on-going relationship with him and the students.
The two girls on the left are from Iraq and have started coming to several ministries through the girl on the right, Tanya. Tanya is one of our closest friends and has one of the strongest hearts for evangelism of anyone I know, anywhere. Please pray for them as well as other Islamic students that we are begining to have strong relationships with.
