Packing up again . . . . . .

Roma and me - one of the young men who has come to all  our english clubs, sports ect . . . .
  After our last English Club
Wow, the summer has gone by so fast!  We begin our long journey back home to Mississippi tomorrow night.  We leave Poltava at 11pm by bus, the ride is about 4 or 5 hours depending on the roadwork, then fly from Kiev, Ukraine to Amsterdam, Holland.  We lay over in Amsterdam for 6 hours then fly another 9 hours to Memphis, then by car another 2 hours or so to Ripley, Mississippi where we live.  Please pray for us!
We have had another great summer here in Poltava, Ukraine.   We love it here very much and the LORD has given us many, many treasured relationships with the people of Ukraine.  It’s hard to believe that six summers have passed by already since we began to come here.  Please pray for future missions projects here and for all the people who heard about HIS GREAT GRACE this summer.

These last few weeks have been very busy, sorry for not posting much.  We have been trying to spend as much time with the people we’ve met as possible.  We have also been trying to end up all the ministries we have been involved in this summer, goodbyes are very hard, we never know if this time will be our last time to be here so it makes it difficult for us.  Below are several photos from the last week or so.  Thanks again for all your prayers and support.  We are very thankful for them, we hope to see many of you face to face very soon and be able to share some of the wonderful blessings and experiences HE has given us this summer.  GOD bless!!!
I’ll leave youth with one final quote I heard that really fits our family.  I know with all my plans, dreams and expectations that the most fruitful relationships we have come from this kind of attitude  . . . . . .  “We just try to meet people, love them, and tell them about JESUS.”

A very delicious cake the youth got for us - It's a Ukrainain flag heart
The Shevchenko sisteres - great friends of ours
